Communications and Development Associate
We are seeking a dedicated and invested professional to play an integral
role in the planning and implementation of our special events, fundraising
and communication activities in support of UCP’s mission of Understanding
Disabilities, Creating Opportunities and Promoting Community.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication and
time management skills with an ability to pay attention to detail. S/he will be
able to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a professional
manner and be able to foster relationships with a variety of partners.
Proficiency with MS Office products is required. Database management is
desirable. The successful candidate will have five years’ experience
fundraising, communications and special events and be comfortable
soliciting external support for our agency. A valid driver’s license and
access to a reliable vehicle are also required.

Associate typically works during business hours. Occasional evening and
weekend hours are required during events.
