The Center for Patient Partnerships at UW Madison is seeking an Advocacy
Coordinator for our Patient Advocacy Clinic. This 75% to 100% position will supervise
students as they assist patients navigating the complex healthcare system. The
Coordinator will also provide direct support to patients and share their expertise
through our educational offerings.
Ideal candidates will have an advanced degree in law, medicine, nursing, pharmacy,
social work, or related profession, as well as experience and passion for experiential
education, a commitment to interdisciplinary, collaborative practice, and be grounded
in the principles of health justice. We are looking for candidates who share our
commitment to promoting inclusion and ensuring that all patients have a voice in
their healthcare. Experience in teaching and/or health advocacy is a plus.
