                  IRRIGATION AND GREEN ROOF SPECIALIST

The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Facilities Planning and Management,
Environmental Services Department (Grounds) is recruiting for a hard worker to be
primarily responsible for routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs to the exterior
portions of landscape irrigation systems and their associated controls on the Madison
Campus. The Irrigation and Green Roof Specialist will also manage the maintenance and
care of green roofs on campus.  Green roofs are a growing trend that aid in sustainability
efforts by absorbing rainwater, providing insulation, creating a habitat for wildlife, and
helping to lower urban air temperatures. Responsibilities will include snow and ice
removal. Minimum starting wage is $17.32 per hour plus an excellent benefits package.

                                                            TREE CREW LEAD

The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Facilities Planning and Management,
Environmental Services Department (Grounds) is recruiting for a highly motivated
individual to perform and oversee tree and shrubbery maintenance and assist with the
layout of planting sites on the UW-Madison campus.  The Tree Crew Lead will maintain
inventories of tools and chemicals as well as research and evaluate new products and
equipment. This lead worker position is responsible for guiding and directing the activities
of permanently assigned and temporary employees. Minimum starting wage is $15.83 per
hour plus an excellent benefits package.

These positions requires physical strength and flexibility and the ability to handle various
terrains in inclement weather.  Must have, or be able to obtain within six months of hire, a
Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License with tanker and air brake endorsements.  
Candidates must be available to work hours in excess of the normal work shift, including

The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Facilities Planning and Management is currently
recruiting for multiple full-time positions in the Custodial Services Unit.
We are seeking
qualified candidates who are highly motivated, experienced & possess the skills to work
on
the Custodial Services team dedicated to maintaining a beautiful and clean UW
Campus.

                                               CUSTODIAN

Duties include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, washing windows and walls, dusting,
cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, performing special projects and seasonal duties.  
Hours of work will vary and can include
2nd and 3rd shifts with rotating schedules,
weekends and holidays.  Must be able to operate cleaning equipment, use cleaning
chemicals properly and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.  These positions will involve
standing and walking for up to 8 hours.  Starting pay is $12.85 per hour plus excellent

                                         CUSTODIAN LEAD

Responsibilities may include monitoring crew
assignments, checking buildings for safety
and security compliance, assisting training on proper cleaning methods and safe
operation of all equipment, arranging the repair or removal of faulty equipment, ordering
supplies, and performing floor care and other custodial tasks.  These positions require

the availability to work evening, weekend and/or holiday hours. Starting pay is $13.83 per
hour
