Director of Facilities & Grounds
The Director of Facilities and Grounds, reporting to the Assistant
Superintendent for Operations and Continuous Improvement,
oversees and manages the efficient and effective operation and
maintenance of school district properties with responsibility for
assuring that students, staff, and community members are
provided with physical environments that are clean, healthy, safe,
and well maintained, with an emphasis on customer service. The
Director also provides overall leadership and supervision of
facilities and grounds team.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant career
area and relevant professional training directly related to
management responsibilities At least 5 years management or
leadership experience in increasingly responsible roles.
Experience in developing and managing capital and operational
budgets, implementing financial controls, and contract
management and fulfillment. Experience in the management of
Certification: Facility Manager Certification-WASBO/DPI
Endorsed Wisconsin School Safety Coordinator Certification-DPI
Endorsed Certified School Risk Manager-DPI Endorsed
Starting Date: June 1, 2017
Salary Range: $81,388 - $110,113
